Epoxy Flooring
Hard-wearing epoxy resin floors for warehouses, factories, kitchens and workshops: forklift-ready and chemical resistant.
Epoxy FlooringProper floor preparation is the foundation of any high-performance resin system. Our team removes old coatings, contaminants and weak surface layers, and profiles the concrete to achieve maximum adhesion and a sound, level substrate.
Oil, grease, laitance and old coatings all stop resin from bonding.
A properly profiled surface gives the coating something to grip.
High spots, joints and damaged areas are dealt with before coating.
Dust-extracted equipment leaves a clean surface ready for primer.
Testing first prevents blistering and debonding later.
A good substrate means a smoother, longer-lasting floor.
High-powered blasting to remove old coatings and profile concrete for a strong mechanical bond.
Precision grinding to smooth and level surfaces and open the concrete for adhesion.
Aggressive mechanical removal of thick coatings and heavy contamination.
In-situ relative humidity testing to make sure the slab is ready for resin.
Flowable levelling compounds for a flat, even substrate before coating.
Penetrating primers that seal the concrete and reduce porosity.
Almost every resin floor failure, whether peeling, blistering or patches lifting under forklifts, comes back to preparation. The resin itself is rarely the problem; it’s what it was laid on.
That’s why preparation is included as standard in every flooring job we quote. We also carry out preparation as a standalone service for contractors and facilities teams who need a slab made ready for another finish.
Shot blasting fires steel shot at the surface to remove coatings and leave a textured profile, which is fast on large open areas. Diamond grinding is more precise, better for edges, smaller areas and levelling high spots. Many jobs use both.
Our equipment runs with dust extraction, which keeps airborne dust to a minimum. We’ll agree any screening or isolation needed for live sites in advance.
New concrete needs time to cure and dry before resin goes on. We test moisture levels on site and can advise on suitable moisture-tolerant primers if your programme is tight.
Tell us about your floor and we’ll come back to you with advice and a quote. We’re fully insured and work on sites of every size, anywhere in Ireland.
